Our childbirth education classes are designed to provide a comprehensive understanding your choices for labor, pain management, labor support, interventions to allow you to best navigate the birthing experience you desire.

COMPREHENSIVE CHILDBIRTH PREPARATION (12 hours)
This comprehensive weekend class provides in-depth information on childbirth preparation in a highly interactive setting. You will learn about your changing body during pregnancy, development of the fetus, progression of labor, multiple birthing methodologies and choices. In addition, this class addresses in detail pain management techniques, possible interventions during pregnancy and the implications, giving participants multiple tools and resources for navigating the right path for delivery for them. Due to the interactive nature of the class, you and your birth partner will also gain valuable practical experience in choosing and preparing for the birth of your baby.

CHILDBIRTH PREPARATION INTENSIVE (6 hours)
Meeting for two 3 hour sessions over the course of two days, this Intensive class covers all the topics of our comprehensive weekend class with less interactive exercises and discussion. All attendees can be assured your individual questions and concerns will be addressed, as we limit the size of each class. This class is perfect for couples with limited time seeking direction and comfort for navigating the issues and available choices in pregnancy and birth. It is also a good class as a refresher for a second birth. (2 sessions)

DOULA INFORMATION SESSION
This monthly workshop describes the role of the doula, a “personal assistant” in the prenatal, labor and delivery and postpartum phase. Meet some of the top doulas in the city, all in one night!
